Frances Britten, (R)

CRS

Licensed as an RA 1983, licensed as a Realtor (Broker) 1985

I moved to Hawaii on a whim in 1966 and never looked back. Although I was born in New York, and NYC will always be in my heart, I love my adopted homeplace, our wonderful Hawaii. My loyalty is here, I'd choose to live nowhere else and am honored to be Kama'aina. I'm married, have three grown children, all Hawaii-born, two grandchildren and two cats (just two at the moment; I'm always open to one more). It's great to both live and work here in Kailua. Besides being a Realtor, I'm a writer and the author of the only book in print specifically about Hawaii real estate, "How to Buy and Sell Your Home in Hawaii" (see more below). For fun, I write murder mysteries. I also enjoy painting, needlework, many different kinds of arts and crafts and participating in my 8-year-old granddaughter's school and sports activities. We've lived in the same house for more than 25 years, renovating and enlarging it as needed for our family. It no longer resembles its original self and I've learned a whole lot about fixing up houses in the process.

Check out my book, How to Buy and Sell Your Home in Hawaii

A well-written Step-by-Step in language everyone can understand,  by an active hands-on HomeQuest Realtor with many years of experience in the unique Hawaii real estate market. The only book of its kind in print.

With common sense and ethical conduct as its cornerstones, this book lays the foundation for successful transacting in Hawaii. Learn smart real estate strategies, practices unique to Hawaii, how to start, what to do, and what NOT to do, when buying or selling your island home.

Available in Hawaii bookstores and through Mutual Publishing in Honolulu, you may also buy it by clicking on the title above.
